Default 74 Big Block conversion?? Pulleys radiator etc

Hoping to get some help form those that have done this.
We are looking at installing a 502 ito a 74 Small block car.
Most of the brackets pulleys etc have been located except fpr the Water pump.
I am being told the stock BB water pump pulley is hard to come by.

Is there a factory pulley system substitute that will work well without causing heating issues??
If so what components are required. We are trying to keep a stock type appearance untilizing the fan shroud and clutch fan.

Any suggestions on what type/brand radiator works best???

Thanks Tim

Go with a Dewitts Direct Fit aluminum radiator (forum sponsor, excellent quality). All of the major Corvette vendors should be able to provide the correct short water pump for a BB Vette, also Jegs and Summit. Date coded restored OEM castings will run quite a bit more, but are occasionally on Ebay. Some knowledgable forum members can probably provide names of water pump restorers. Correct shroud, fan and fan clutch may require a trip to Carlisle, though the major Vendors should have adequate reproductions. If nothing else, this will give your thread a bump so others can chime in.

Thanks for the input and Bump 71.

Is there a problem with a replacement pump from say Advanced or O'reilly's????
Correct appearance/numbers issues are not a problem here, functionality is.

Thanks again

O'Reillys, AZ, Advance, etc. are fine for your waterpump, just make sure it is not generic big block short pump. To match up to Vette pulleys and brackets, you need the Vette specific pump. It is slightly longer than the standard short pump and the shaft is 3/4 inch instead of 5/8. Be careful on mixing and matching pulleys, brackets and pumps, as it will cause you to have belt alignment problems.
