Default Radiator Replacement

OK, I've seen lots of info on radiators on the Forum. I'd like to ask those of you who have replaced the radiator on your early C3's ('68-'73) to list the brand of radiator you purchased and any feedback [good or bad] on your satisfaction with that choice. I'm having it installed, so I don't need info on disassembly or installation issues.

As always, I really appreciate the info CF users can provide.

I replaced my stock brass/copper radiator with a 2 core aluminum from Dewitt's, which solved all my over heating problems and with the 2 spal fans, I got a little more HP,too!

I have not had to replace the radiator in my 68, but I replaced the radiators in both my 61 and 65. I went with Dewitt's aluminum radiators for both. They look correct and brought the temps down by almost 30 degrees. In my opinion they can't be beat. No need for any additional or electric fans on a stock Vette. I am running stock clutch fans on both and they run 180 all day long.

Installed a Universal Griffin Radiator (paid $159) in my '68 and it runs super cool. Easy install, good fit and great price!

Original is gone.

I now have a DeWitts.

I LOVE it.

I have a mechanical fan for now until I do a motor swap, when I will install a MarkVIII / Taurus fan.

Went with the Dewitts direct fit aluminum rad and new standard clutch fan & fan blade, dropped 40 degrees from old copper/brass rad & electric fan system on car when bought.
1969 427/4 speed,runs at 176 degrees now!

Actually it's $75 off of the "GM restoration Radiators" and $50 off of the "Direct Fit" line.
