I need a 1/4" hard tube to 6an female adapter, any ideas where I can get one of those?
Summit, Nope
Jegs, Nope
same thing as Erls 165056ERL for earls, but for 1/4 instead of 5/16"

Cheap way is to silver solder a 3/8 over the 1/4 line.
There was a comprehensive thread about this fitting about a year ago. Maybe a search will be lucky.
You might want to try this free prog for annotating pics. My eyes aren't what they used to be

Thanks for the link Noonie. I thought about Silver Soldering the thing on there, might be the way to go. Problm is the line is steel and the fitting aluminum.
There is got to be a way to get this done. Anyone know what the fitting is in the PS valve input side? I never understood that flair, inverted flair thing..
Will a pipe thread or an o-ring fitting thread into the valve?

Why not weld/braze/silver solder a piece of 3/8" line to the end of the 1/4" line. Then flare the 3/8" for the AN#6 fitting.

Wouldnt a standard 5/16 brake line thread in there?

That's what I meant.
Slip the 1/4" inside the 3/8" about a 1/2 " and then silver sweat it.
You can also go to hydraulic fittings which are steel and also 37° same as -an if you want to direst braze, but you do need an overlap for strenght.
