For the front and rear, you can jack the car at the location of where you would if you were changing at tire ~ for the front, right behind the wheel well on the frame for each side. For the rear, right before the edge of the frame by the kickup.
BTW, my front crossmember has many "jack dents" in it from the previous owners. You can jack the car by the front crossmember, but you need to do it correctly using a brace between the front and back of the crossmember and placing the jack under the brace.
Just to be sure, the Sport shock is firmer ( better spring control ) than the HD shock? I have heard different views on this. Thanks
Here's the answer I found;
What is the main difference between the different settings?
Comfort setting shocks would be very much like the original shocks for your car. Heavy Duty will be somewhat stiffer and give your car a stiffer and more controlled ride. Sport setting shocks are 30% stiffer than Heavy Duty and are usually used with lowering springs for very hard driving and competition.

No for installing the shocks .. It was a piece of cake... Nothing to it.. took a few hours but its done... And was fun to do.....Now im ready to go to the drive inn at foster freeze tonight,.
but I have 3 new shocks and one old one and the replacement for the old one was in the vette when I got it.. just now working way to back in (besides new brakes and calipers).. I wonder if bubba bubbaed something up and couldn't get the 4th shock off.. Any ideas what bubba could have bubbaed up... I'm going to try to change it this weekend after I go checkout a local car show.
