Yes sir, these two part numbers are for the same engine, and they are in stock by the way. Scott.

CT350PC1 and 9176-CH350PC05
looks like specs could just about be duplicated by freshening a '96-'99 iron head vortec lite truck motor with a good valve job, a GM hot cam p/n 24502586, a set of 1.6:1 rockers & some sorta air gap intake. Smart fellow could clone it at home for 1/2 $ or less.

Default needed engine parts

hello,

im new in this forum.i am living in germany and i bought the same engine a couple of weeks before.my english is not the best but i try to comment my problems.to start the first run i need some parts to complete the engine.but i dont know whether the parts fit the engine.
i need a carburetor,distributor,pulley set and a dipstick.
i want to order these parts by summit.do anyone have some suggestions which parts i can use on the engine?
by the carburetor i was thinking about the "holley street avenger ( 670 or 770)".or can i choose a better one??
i am very thankful for every advice

Welcome to the Forum! No need to justify for your English...my father once told me:

"Never make fun of someone from a foreign country having trouble with the English language...it just means they can speak 2 languages, can you?"

Anyway, regarding your question about Summit Racing...they are a very good company to do business with. I have rarely had any problems with them AND when I did, they went above and beyond in service to correct it.

Secondly, regarding the question about your choice in carbs...I have a Holley Street Avenger 670...to me, it is a very good carb and just the right size for the 350. Simple to work on, parts are available at just about any auto parts store and they have great tech support.

You will see that different people prefer different things and that is true with carbs...some people like Edlebrock...some will prefer Barry Grant....etc etc etc. Just get the facts and make a decision you will be comfortable with.

Good Luck!

my second option will be to contact someone at summit to get the right parts.
but i thought the guys who have driven the engine, have some practical experience,in relation to the carb. and distributor.
the engine has run on the dyno with a 750 holley carb.but which one? i dont know the different between a 4150 / 4160.
the tranny i want to put on is a TKO 500.
and all complete it should run in a DAX-Cobra replika with a 3.05 rear end.

Sorry all...

I have had the same engine that you bought from Year One with all the same components that I now have on my 383 from the same builder.

See signature first and ask away....I will do my best to respond. Also, engine pics are below under the Motortopia site

I am traveling right now so it may take several hrs for me to answer
