When my car was restored the guy that did had someone re-revit the upper ball joints. I noticed one of the heads of the revits has snapped. I am wondering if its worth re-reviting it or for safety should I put bolts in. The car is a clean frame off driver and is not a NCRS show car.
If you don't care about factory correct, I'd just put in bolts. Maybe do all 3 so it doesn't look like a hodgepodge. Bolts are just as strong and much easier to install properly.
I'm quite sure I saw a ball joint bolt that had a head like a rivet. It would look good with the other 2 rivets. I'm not sure where it was but maybe Bairs in Pa.
