I recently replaced my old what appeared to be original flasher and honestly miss the character of the long slower flashes vs. my new flasher flashes just like a new car...and now the car has lost some character.

Okey. So the flasher in the rear is for the alarm.
The flasher for the turn signal should be on the passenger side, dash area.

What are the flasher on the fuse box used for??? What looks like a flasher?

I am not using the alarm on my car. can i use the flasher for the alarm, on my turn signal? Are they the same type?

Yes you can use the flasher from the alarm on your signals or temporarily use the one from the 4 way.Yes they are pretty much the same.I think the turn signal used to be lighter duty and if used in the 4 way used to flash too fast but I dont think they make one that light anymore. Most are heavy duty and seem to cover a wider range of lights on the circuit.

You might want to check if you have a burned out bulb first. The flashers were selected to flash with a certain amount of current flowing through them, and if a blinker bulb burns out they stop flashing. The remaining good bulb just lights up.

All bulbs are ok. Already checked that. so then i tought the most probably cause is the flasher.
Could it be anything else?

When you hit the turn signal, do the blinkers light up, and not flash?
Bad flasher.
Don't light at all?
It's might be something else.

On my car the "blinkers" are on the whole time. And then starts to flash when i hit the turn signal. Is that not the normal on every corvette??
As it is now, they are youst on all the time. So that make me conclud that it was the flasher. But it might youst be that i hope it is the flasher. Since that is what will be the most easy fix.
