Default TCS switch on Muncie 4 Speed

What is the TCS switch for on the side of a Muncie 4 speed. 1973 C3 454. I don't see provisions for it on the Keisler TKO 600 that I am installing. Richard at Keisler never heard of it either. Does it work in conjunction with the neutral safety switch actuated by the clutch? I'm just trying to find out if I can tie it off and forget about it. Maybe someone out there who has done the conversion can clue me in.
Thanks for any input!

It involves emissions and was not on earlier Muncies. Do a search here if interested in more info.

transmission controlled spark. what it basically does is limit full advance to 4th gear only on muncie. you take it off and plug vac line and you will notice no, zero, nada difference in performance, gas mileage etc. been there done that on 3 70s(including current car), and a 73 auto car back in the day.

There will be some difference in performance, but you may not "feel" it. The TCS system eliminates vacuum advance on lower gears. When going to WOT, vacuum advance is eliminated anyway...so no difference. But when driving around in the city [with only partial throttle], vacuum advance improves engine performance...particularly with fuel mileage. Removing the TCS system (or bypassing it, as I've done) will make the car run better...but increase some hydrocarbon emissions in the exhaust.
