Hello My 77 Has what looks like bondo inside both door pillars, just below the window frame. It is smooth and about 5 inches long and 1 and a half wide. I see this on some pictures of other vettes. Is this factory or a repair ? I would appreciate if anybody knows Thanks Phil

see if it's soft or very hard....lotsa epoxy looks like bondo...but bondo never gets THAT hard....
need a pix to see for sure just what/where...but there is lotsa glues down in that area gluing the fenders to the steel....or for that matter in the firewall area/window well......but from behind the kick panel, in that steel hinge area there should be none visible.....
I'm not sure just where you're referring to, but there is a small amount of filler (not Bondo) on the hinge pillar which is used to smooth the joint between the steel pillar and the fiberglass inner fender filler panel that is pop riveted to the to the hinge pillar.
Boy... that's some confusing sentence, but it is what I think you're asking about.
Regards,
Alan
