Wrong; in the front it is all about the springs and in the back it is a combination of spring and suspension bolt length. Longer bolts lower ride; shorter bolt higher ride.

Yep. I've got 8" bolts and don't really want to go to 10". There is an ancient long thread about crappy quality control in some of the fiberglass mono springs for the rear...I've got a bad one and never got around to replacing it. Going back to standard steel springs is my plan.
