it mounts on the driver's side inner fender on the side facing the firewall. if it's the rectangular type, if you slide it around, you'll see a position where the three mounting brackets seem to all make good contact.

I did away with all unnecessary vac lines, Which meant getting rid of the can! Everything works great as long as you are smart enough to turn your lights off while the eng. is running!
I also eliminated a lot of potential leaks!
