Rotors?!?!?!!!
but smaller diameter for the 15 inch stock rims...
I think the shark rotors are FAR superior to any of the newer cars, same as an old A-B body car of the '70's......
I also feel that for a few grooves as long as it's not gouged out, I'd leave them alone....the pads will wear into position fast enough...
IF you really ned replace them...buy American made rotors...I"ll just bet somehow the cheaper rotors are Chinese made, and some of their steel is not so great, I wouldn't take a chance....it's the brakes for christsakes....

The reason I replaced mine?! They were getting close to min, and would of served awhile longer. Until I took a good look at the cooling fins, (the veins or webs that are sandwiched between the outer braking surfaces) after picking some of the rust away, they were rusted to paper thin! Nothing like the thought of collapsing rotors to speed replacement! Another sign to look for on older rotors is 'heat spots'. They kinda look like metal zits. Enough of these on a braking surface is a sign I use for fatigue and replacement. They remain and are easier to spot after being resurfaced. My motto with brakes is, "No regrets"! I'd rather be safe than sorry!
Vette rotors have to be checked to make sure they don't run out more than a few thou. If they do you will have problems with them sucking air into the calapers. The rivets make it so that won't happen; if you can't take them off, you can't put them on wrong.
They make a machine that does it on the car. Apparently, a lot of the newer imports have non removable rotors. I had it done at the Western Auto it the small town I live near.
