76 Vette Choke problems
Having choke problems on cold engine...Is there a way to fix choke or will a new carb be required?.Blows out black soot on start up.(yes, I have looked at vacuum already)...Thanks,Pete

I think there is a kit to replace it, but I don't know the part number or where to get it. Someone else will know that.
When the engine is cold, how much of a gap is there between the choke blade and the leading edge of the opening? You should have about 3/8" when it's cold.
