Interior Light Delay Timer

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Bypass- the relay is over behind the glovebox liner-remove the glovebox-unplug the relay and in the connector coming from the car are 2 white wires just jumper those 2 wires.

I've built a solid-state replacement that's a direct plug-in for the stock mechanical timer used in pre-78 (I think) cars. I need to gather up the parts to build one for Matt, too.
Does it work strictly on time like the 77s did?You should put together some for 78 and later and make a few extra bucks.I have several new timers for 84-85 that should work on 78 and newer. If you would like to copy one I could send one of them to you.
Sorry, I'm French. I use a translator.
I have a problem on a 1982 Corvette c3.
The same as this post.
The interior lighting, the three lamps, which are always on.
I think it's the timer relay (see drawing)
I seem to have understood that he was behind the glove box.
True or false ?
I have another concern:
The speedometer bulbs no longer light up.
I did not find an HS fuse.
Do you have an idea ?
I thank you in advance

Hi everybody.
If this is true, this will keep your Courtesy lights on
I have modified your photo,
These wire terminals are very small so if you have the skills and terminals you can bypass the timer easily.
To bypass the timer out of the circuit simply follow the instructions below.
Unplug and remove the light delay timer from the main dash harness completely.
You will see 2 White wires on the drawing you provided.
The circuit to these White wires is 156.
White wires only...Run a jumper wire from one to another like on the drawing I modified.
Now your courtesy lights should work with no delay.
Here is a link showing delay timer location and wiring diagram: https://willcoxcorvette.com/corvette...er-board-78-82
New circuit boards are available from most Corvette vendors about $40.00 USD

Bonjour bmotojoe, merci beaucoup.
That fuse is for ALL of your dash and gauges lighting.
Upper Left side, It will be a 7.5A fuse.
Don't pay attention to the fuse colored in Red, this diagram was pointing out the fuel pump fuse location...
Check to see if fuse is good.
