What is involved in converting to power brakes. There are a lot of 68 to whatever boosters on E-Bay. Is it an easy job ? Do I need a different master cylinder. It looks like all the booters have 4 bolts, my firewall only has 2 holes. Whats the procedure for this conversion ?
You just have to drill two holes in the firewall and the pedal assembly to fit the booster. Other than that I don't know, the MC might bolt on to the front of the booster if you get lucky. You might also need a (proportioning valve?) to control front and rear bias.. not sure. You will need to buy the correct power brake hardlines unless you think that you can make your own.
If I were you I'd visit a Corvette junkyard and gather all of those parts, excluding the brake booster. Good luck.

If you have power steering, go with the Hydroboost instead of the vacuum booster. Smaller, easier to install, and they get rave reviews for functionality.
Added the factory 1972 package to my 72 BB and it was tough as space is limited under the dash. I ordered the entire package from Corvette Central and got every piece I needed. manufold vac line was a bit short but other then that, not a real big deal. You will need your AM as not the first farkin instruction comes with the package.
You do not need to change the proportioning valve and new hard lines are included.
I will admit I hated to dril additional holes but it all worked out very well.
