I know it is not a tech/perf question, but I have a wealthy neighbor who would like to buy my baby, and I need help establishing a price. It is a 1970 LS5 convertible, black leather interior, white top, ac, power steering, power brakes, shoulder belts, alarm, 4 speed, power windows, hardtop, all numbers matching, 80k original miles, very good condition, former Top Flight and Bloomington Gold. Everything works perfectly. Paint is good but imperfect, a few chips, some slight spider web cracks and wavyness on the fender. Photo's at www.aneso.com/vette Thanks for your opinions!!!
From: I tend to be leery of any guy who doesn't own a chainsaw or a handgun.

Given that, may I politely request that you don't dilute the content of the technical forum by posting non-technical money/investment questions. There are other forums for that.
Well if he is spending almost 90k on a LS5 C3 that has, "a few chips, some slight spider web cracks and wavyness on the fender" he is not going to be rich very long....
If he has lots of "dough" and really wants it....and you really DON'T want to sell it, you should tell him $80K. If he buys it, you won't be as unhappy, anyway.
Take the money and run!!! If he doesnt bite I will sell him my 71 BB coupe for half the price!!!!! Its Bridgehampton blue too and has custom designed spider cracks !!!!
