Like a bunch of you already have done, I am looking at the year One ct350pc1 motor. Looking at their web site, all of the motors listed as Hi Tech models say they are dynamicly balanced. The CT350pc1 Does not say it is Balanced ? Does any one know if it is balanced? and what is the difference between dynamic and internal balancing that HI Tech lists on their web site?
There sure seems to be lotsa INTERNAL SPECIFICATION questions about Y1 crate motors' guts.
Since they're crate motors & most folks who have em have not (hopefully) been inside em ... seems the best primary source for most SPEC Answers would be the supplier (Y1 / their suppliers).

static balance is measured radially on a single plane (like a ceiling fan). dynamic balance is also measured radially but along an axially plane (like a barrel). much more difficult to correct especially if the different ends of the axis can have different unbalance. internal balance on crankshafts are always dynamic.
