Vette wont start!

the vette started 1st kick today as per normal, moved it out of the garage, to do some work on the window frame, had window removed this morning, did some work on the frame, I used the eletric drill with a wire thing, I forgot to disconnect battery, so iam thinking something might have happened because of this.

so finished up, went to start car, wont start, its turns over fine, its just about catchs, but just wont fire up, im getting plenty of fuel.

its feels like it is going to start, but just wont!

anyone help??

Have you checked for spark?

Have a peek at the choke too. When cold, it should be open about 3/8".

I dont use choke, dont need to, starts fine with out it, need to check for spark.
