suspension painting
I'm going to start pulling apart the front suspension and want to clean and paint the control arms. Are you guys using POR 15 for this or just a rustolum type of spray paint?

I used rustoleum two years ago, some parts sprayed, some brushed. So far holding up well.

Powdercoating is a good option.

The A-armss are powdercoated, the rest of the components are POR-15, top coated with Semi gloss black spray paint.

I used RustBullet with a topcoat of Eastwood Chassis Black for my control arms. I did the frame with RustBullet topcoated with Rustoleoum Satin Black, but I think the Chassis Black adhered better to the RustBullet. I like the sheen of the Satin Black better though.

thanks for the replies! I wasn't sure if the rustoleum wouldn't chip off easy.
