Finally got everything cleaned and painted and have been stuffing it back under as fast as I can go so I can get the new exhaust system on. Will put the halfshafts and fuel tank back in tomorrow. To all of you on the numerous other threads I started on this project, I say thanks for the advice and assistance!!! It now has a new body mounts, rear suspension, fuel cell, rear wiring harness, rebuilt differential and the undercarriage and frame have been cleaned and painted. Here are some before and after pics:

L82 That's looking GREAT!!!! My 75 is in the middle of a similar transformation, a lot more cleaning up before things start going back on. I'm curious what you used to detail the underbody and your differential cover... looks to me like you did a great job there, I'd be thrilled if mine turned out half that good
That is an outstanding job. I've got three more days here in the Box then I can get to work on mine. I too would like to know what you used on the differential, it looks great. Side note. Is the stack up of the strut bar bolt a mock up? I didnt like the looks of the nut threaded only 1/2 way on.
no, nothing is tightened all the way up yet. Just making sure all the pieces go back to together before I torque them up. Also have to get it back on the ground to make sure the ride height and everything is right before final torque.
Pressure washed everything under the car, but that didnt do a whole lot. Used a steel brush and scotchbrite pads with carb and brake cleaner. Another useful tool is a wire wheel stuck into my die grinder, it will strip stuff down in no time flat. Hopefully will finish up today and get the exhaust and ac box started. Thanks for compliments, it was one nasty car underneath, had to sweep, vacuum the shop floor 3 or 4 times. Next time I will put plastic underneath so I can pull out an throw away without all the sweeping.
