top replacement

Anyone have a good source for instructions on replacing the top on a '72? I already have the top, just would like some decent instructions. I've done Fiats, Triumphs and MGs but never a corvette.

Does Al Knock have a DVD for soft top replacement? He has 1 to help in seat cover replacement. Worth a call?

I used an Al Knoch dvd for my son's 88 top replaceme t. I found it very helpful. You might find an article archived in Corvette Fever Magazine.

Al Knoch has a good video. Rowley Corvette has a writeup on their website that is pretty good. Sometimes it helps to have the written word.

70 bucks for a damn video? theres complete insanity, and then theres that.

Rent it or buy it

I rented the video from Corvette Central ($15) to determine the degree of difficulty, then when I was ready to purchase the parts from Al Knoch, got the video for $35 from Al. Later sold it on Ebay for $20. It is invaluable for the instructions and is not expensive.
