Quadrajet Question.....
Hello All..........I own a '78 L-82/4 speed car and have had it for almost 20 years. It's pretty much an all original car showing 62K miles. I am not having any problems at the moment but I was curious about my original Quadrajet carb. The car runs just fine, but I am pretty sure my Carb has never been rebuilt and the fact that it's 30 years old now it may need a little attention.......... I seem to remember reading on the Forum about "Lars" being a master when it comes to Quadrajet's............Just wondering if anyone has any contact info for him. Thanks in advance! Regards, Drew
Yep, he's even in the wikipedia.
I'm willing to bet he'll show his face in this thread at some point.
As for rebuilding: I don't see any reason you shouldn't, as it's recommended maintenance anyway. If the car runs well, you should be able to just take it down, clean everything and put it back together, then set your timing and adjust the idle.

He's the best....and he's reasonable. Send your distributor with the carb so they can be tuned together. Best money I ever spent on my car.
