I got a C4 setup off of a '90 for under $100 with shipping. It included the Breathless AIR pump eliminator which is normally $160 - $180, 105 amp alternator, used waterpump, ND AC compressor and PS Pump. I have seen Camaro/TA setups on ebay routinely sell for $125. The C4 stuff is harder to find, but uses the Corvette length water pump (reverse rotation). I believe that the Camaro/TA setup uses a long water pump. Either way, you will need to switch to electric fans. Some people have had issues with clearance between the crank pulley and the front cross member when using the Camaro/TA setup. No problem if you are a welder to cut a relief and then reinforce properly. IMHO the March stuff is the best looking aftermarket setup, but with power steering, and AC you are looking at $2k plus shipping. I don't think that any of the aftermarket (Zoops, March, Billet Specialties) serp setups are available in a Corvette specific layout, and they are all comparable in price to the March setup. I have added a polished 150 amp CS 144 alternator, polished Edlebrock waterpump, polished billet March pulleys, and still have under $800 invested.

Default Sanden Compressor in R4 Cradle

Here are some photos of a Sanden compressor I mounted in a R4 cradle. I made two C - shaped brackets to attach the compressor to the cradle. In preliminary tests the hood fit fine. You will notice the ports are located at the 9 o'clock position. According to Sanden this is acceptable if the suction port is the upper port. I'm in the final stages of a frame off, so I haven't run this setup yet. Hope to do the initial start up in the next week or two.

Default Air pump eliminator

All you have to do is take the air pump apart and remove the vanes and reinstall. Guaranteed to fit. I have done it on a 89 TPI going into a 66 Nova. It has been a few years but If I remember right, I broke the bakelite fins off the shaft so I would not have to remove the pulley. You have to remove the fins or you get a lot of noise from the pumping action.
