The kit is suppose to be already balanced and clearenced,All of my connecting rods are ground down on top of one of the connecting rod bolts,i guess its the side that goes towards the cam.Is this normal or right ,this is my first stroker.The kit is from eagle.It just bothers me that this has been done,not use to this
Grinding a little off of the rod bolt head is common to gain some clearance, I take it these are a conventional stock rod and not a cap screw rod.
The rods are i beam type rods ,suppose to be stronger then stock rods ,sir bushed ,arp bolts. They ground down a little bit into the rod its self right where the top of the connecting rod touches the rod.

I had to grind those rods before on the shoulder, it should not get into the shaft of the rod, can you take a pic ?
