Vent thingamabobs
The vent flapper that is inside the hole by the #2 body mount. The seals on mine are shot, anybody know their technical name and where I can find them to replace mine with? None of my catalogs show them.

You can order them 'ready made' or go buy an 8"x10" sheet of black CRAFT FOAM at Michael's Crafts Store of Hobby Lobby. It is identical to the seal material used on that door. You still have to do the door disassembly, drill/grind out rivets, cut and install seal, pop-rivet back in place, paint if you want.

I have some pics on my machine at home. Bought a special tool to seat/crush the rivits. Used the same tool last weekend re sealing the heater box.

Any chance of using pop rivets with washers on that?

thats what I had planned on doing, the set I ordered comes with the rivets, will wait and see what type they are, otherwise I was just going to use regular rivets with a washer on the back and pound them flat!

Here's a pic of the completed doors
The tool is called a semi tubular rivet set. I found one that fits into an air
chisel. bought it from these guys. turn the air pressure all the way down as far as you can. The rivets are aluminum & will set very easily.

astro vent doors
I re-did mine last week with the Doc Rebuild kit...no
problem and comes with detailed instructions.
The only door I found was the one on the passenger-
side footwell..there's another door somewhere?
Wondered why I had another piece of foam left over.
Where's the "other" ventilation door located??
HELP!!

I think AC cars just have one vent door.
I used pop rivets, no washers, worked great.
