Default Fuel line question

I am currently on the ordering page for Summit, and I am wondering what the thread size is on the stock hard line coming from the fuel pump? I know the filter I am getting is -8 AN, but I don't know what size to adapt it to. Anyone know?

Are you converting to AN fittings?? I bought the fuel pump to carb SS/AN fitting combo set from them a while back. I'm pretty sure it's a 3/8 or 6AN. 8AN? I think that's 1/2 in! But I'm running the line from a Holley fuel pump.

Well Len, I got tired of waiting for a response (after 10 whole minutes  ), so I went ahead and bought a 3/8ths to -8 AN adapter. I hope it is the right one, but for 3 whole bucks, I am not going to complain if it's not. I had to complete the order that included my new carb . If I have to change something later, no biggie.....it's just the week of waiting that sucks...but it's December in Minnesota, so what the heck.

AC -
I have a whole technical paper with photos and parts numbers published for building a hard fuel line for a Demon carb. Drop me an e-mail if you'd like me to send you a copy - we put a lot of research and effort into it, and it's technically very accurate.

You know Bill, I just realized that voice inflection doesn't go over real well on the computer :smash: . Have you got that 415 Motown motor yet? Are you still planning on driving the 70 to the Cruise In?
