Default Another Electrical Question...

Ok here is goes. With just the ignition cracked and my light switch pulled out all of my lights work(Headlights, Tail, Brake, Turn, Running Lights, arrows on instrument panel) but no gauge lights? When I start my car, my headlight pop up and they work along with my running lights. When I go to hit the turn signal It won't blink nor tick. Also my brake light won't come on when my car is running aswell. No gauge light are on either.....

What the heck is going on?

The grounds that I have hooked up are: Starter to frame, Front left by my cannister, and on the back DS frame. I don't have my Antenna to frame nor my ignition sheild to side of block.

Sounds like two different problems.

What year car is this?

Need some more clues... some additional questions for you. Do the speedo and tach lights work but not the Instr. cluster lights? For the brake/turn lights, what are the symptoms in the diffent key positions. What about when the key is in the run position and not started and when it is running. How are the emergency flashers behaving?

This does not seam like a ground issue for the turn/brake light problem, maybe the ignition switch? A schematic and more info should help.

We should be able to work though this.

The grounding wire [connection] that goes to the gauge cluster may be damaged/missing. Without disassembling anything, just touch a piece of 'jumper' wire to the metal [and unpainted] portion of the gauge cluster and the other end to a known good ground. If everything works then, fix or re-engineer a ground to the cluster panel.
