just pulled mine today:

You need to get in under the console/gauge bezel where it meets the shifter console and undo two nuts (don't know what size, but I used a crescent wrench to pop them and then undid them the rest of the way by hand).
Then unscrew the bezel around the sides with a phillips screwdriver [Be sure to start up at the top and pull the wiper controls first, it makes life a LOT easier]
Then pull it out and up. Disconnect the gauge wiring (making sure to label the wires and what they go to) and then you're set.
Use a jeweler's flathead screwdriver on the screw in the center of the **** that adjusts the time for the clock, and then undo the bolts on the back of the gauge and it should just pop right out.

The "screws" on the front of the gauge cluster are just fakes put there for decoration.

I hate to say this, but use the search option: you'll find some good how-to's

Buy an Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM) for your car. It is an indispensible item if you own a Corvette.
