I have read during a search that you can't install new C3 Door Hinge Springs without a C3 Door Hinge Spring Installation Tool.
Problem is I don't have one, and in New Zealand you can't get things like this over night.
I have seen photos of one and using scaling it looks as though it's about 12" long, 3/8" shank bent about 45 deg at the 2" point.
Can someone who has one measure theirs, and check if these measurements sound about right?
This minor job is driving me

Its just a screwdriver with about a 45 deg. bend and the blade end rounded a little bit. A torch and a vice will make one up in a jiff.
I heated up the tip of a screwdriver and bent it to the needed angles. Very simple and it was an old screw driver anyway. Just a torch and some plyers and a vise will fix you right up.
Here is a pic of the tool. It is just a bent screwdriver but the angle and position of the bend are exactly right for installing the door spring.
