Default 70-73 Chrome Exhaust Tip Cleaning
What's the best way to remove the black crud from inside my tips? I tried Spray-9 and engine degreaser but they don't work that well. Is there an easy way to do this?

Purple Power and a long brush will probably work the best.

I sprayed some liquid wrench and let it soak for a bit, came right off

Clean them then spray with aluminum spray paint for a quick fix to cover up the rest..

Carb cleaner, then Dawn dish soap and water. Then you need to tune the carb up so that it doesn't run so rich.

I used carb cleaner then mothers metal polish took of the hard stuff.

castrol purple cleaner full strength, wipes right off, safe on the paint
