How do you replace radio lens?

I've done this with my 68 and 70, they have essentially the same radio. First of all remove the *****, and then the front chrome bezel. It's held on with small screws. I had both radios out of the car when I did it. Pull the bezel off and look inside. The lens is held in place where the pot metal has been crimped at the factory, and a small ledge results to protrude over and hold the lens in place. As I recall, I carefullly pushed the crimp back enough to pull the old lens out, snapped in the new one, and pushed the crimp back out enough to hold the lens in. I was thinking glueing that would form a ledge to hold the lens in, but I didn't have too.
Don't know what your 73 radio looks like. Hopefully its about the same.

68/70 is right on . It's quite easy to do but the radio has to be out of the dash or at least pulled back from the gauge cluster bezel far enough for you to get the radio bezel off.
