Help on rear bump stops
I hvae just swapped out my 6" bolt for 8"s. It doesnt look like the car lowered a full two inch's. do I need to remove the bump stops or at least take out some material? Also does anyone know how to make the rear settle without driving it.
Thanks

If you install two inch longer spring bolts, then the rear can be adjusted to be two inches lower.
If your car is on level ground, check the half shaft level. Low may be cool, but not good if you are drag racing. On launch, a level half shaft is best for the u-joint, so they need to be higher on start. This also applies to stoplight heros.
Removing the bump stops will result in eventual damage when parts make contact.
After raising the rear, you can make the rear 'settle' by rolling the car back and forth a few times. There are other ways, but this is the easiest.
