I can't seem to find the post with the garage canopy discussion. I just bought a king canopy 10 x 20 portable garage and it dosn't come with the steaks for mounting it in the grass. I am going to put a tarp down first then mount it. Can anyone find the post? Or does anyone have any new info on securing garage canopys?

The canopy I bought had round plastic feet that fastened to the bottom of each post. I buried each one about 6-9 inches in the ground and poured a little bagged concrete over each one of the feet.
I went to lowes home improvemet today and they had 30" auger anchors ($10 a piece). These are monsters. They said that 4 of those will hold down a trailor. I am going to mount the back of the car canopy to my wood fence (6' privacy fence) and use 2 of these for the front sides. Or should use 4 of them just to be safe? Or maybe i'll go to harbor freight or northern tools to see what they have to offer.
I used 3 easy hook anchors on each side and never had a problem with lifting. It was located next to my built garage and a tree so there wouldnt be a wind problem anyhow.
It was a Cover-It shelter which I believe is different than yours. I listed the 2 anchors since they appear to be the recommended ones.
