could be mc, but more than likely air is in your brake system. Check inside of tires/wheels for possible leaking calipers, if no signs of a leak are present, bleed brakes and then reset the pressure switch by driving vehicle at a safe location, and stand on the brake pedal to reset.

Air in the rear brake lines,, due to a bad rear wheel bearing, was what was causing it for me. If when you bleed them they are good, and then when you drive it for a while they go bad, that is probably the cause.
On the '78 I owned, it turned out I had a bad seal in a caliper...instead of leaking fluid it was sucking in air.
The power booster is simple to check. Pull the big vacuum hose off...if the engine runs the same, the booster is bad...internal vacuum leak. If the engine starts running badly due to the massive vacuum leak, the booster is OK and not leaking.
