Default Rear Dif Decode

I swaped at the gear oil in the rear of my '77 last night, it was like mud -- no kidding!

I am now trying to decode the differential, here are the numbers off of the bottom:

BW330E1

I have tried to investigate, but I can't seem to find anything that matches, which is suprising.

Clean it well and look before the B. Bet there is a real faint A in front of it. 3.70 to 1, earlier rear end, pre 1974. Post the casting # on the main case and the casting date cast into the case.

Casting # is at the front of the main case just to the rear of the pinion yoke on the pass side. The casting date is just below the drivers side, side yoke on the main case. Clean the bottom pad real good and look in front of the BW330E1. Bet it is actually AB W 330 E 1
