That should bolt right up. Your car came with a 350, and the zz4 is a 350 with fast burn heads and other hi-po goodies. Nice choice!

No mods, I put one in my 75. Exhaust manifold will not fit, good excuse for headers

Here's a link to a helpful writeup on the conversion:

you will need:
-corvette water pump and grind 1 bolt
-larger than stock header to cover exhaust port
-flywheel or flexplate for 1 piece rear main seal SBC
-move water temp sensor near Thermostat

remeber: don't hook vaccum advance until you change vaccum spring in the HEI!! (if not you will have tooooooo much vaccum advance)

If you have extra $$$ add a LT4 hot cam kit (camshaft and 1.6 roller lifter)and you will have a ZZ430 clone (see signature)

Default ZZ4 in C3

I put a ZZ4 crate motor in my '75 coupe in 1998.
I see all the other cautions have been listed already..., water pump bolt, etc.
The thing that took a while to solve was the flywheel inspection plate cover for the lower part of the transmission. I tried 5-6 from GM and none would fit due to the new one-piece rear motor seal.. I ended up cutting up my original to provide clearance around the seal. Works fine.
I used a Holley on my with a drop base air cleaner housing. Headers to a full dual set-up.
This engine install was the best thing I ever did. It really brought back the fun-factor in the car.
Autocrossing is much more fun.
