Headlight relays
So, I don't know if I'm just dumb, but...
So my headlights don't work. I replaced all the lines and so there aren't any more leaks (in the lines.) The tank leaks (previous front end accident) so I just bypassed it. However, the lights still don't budge. So I pulled the relays and if I pull vacuum on the metal port the valve moves forward and back like it should. However, if I pull vacuum on the yellow, it leaks even if I plug up all the other holes. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? I was just surprised that both would be broken exactly the same.....and thus I'm thinking I must be doing something wrong.
When I just hold the yellow vacuum line up to either the red or green lines on the headlights they actuate right away, no hesitation or anything.
Sidenote... I expect I need to replace the relays, so did anyone convert to fixed headlights? If you don't need your relays, shoot me a PM.

Sounds like the relays are leaking past inside.The yellow is passing vacuum either to the red or the green depending on the vacuum at the small metal port.If there is no vacuum on the metal port the yellow should be feeding the green port and you should be able to block the green port and the yellow should hold vacuum and not leak.There both probably dried out inside.
