Default Plug wire question

I bought a set of Standard (that the brand) plug wires. The rubber boots on one end are black and one end are brown. Doesn't say what end goes to plug or what end goes to distributor. Does it matter?

You should have an HEI distributor and I believe only one end will fit on it correctly.

Both 90's. I didn't try them yet. Box never said which end went where.

The black should go on the Cap and the brown goes to the plugs

THIS IS MORE LIKELY THE CORRECT POSITION FOR THE BROWN ENDS. wE SELL 'Standard' AND THE BROWN BOOT IS THAT COLOR AS BEING HEAR RESISTANT. i JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE BY THE 90 DEGREE BOOTS.

Hell i`n not going to correct the big letters to lower case..

I got them on and its idling smooth as silk (for now, knock on wood). After I found the vacuum leak its started missing, went out in pitch dark and listened for snap and looked for blue ark. The #6 plug (passinger side 3rd back from front, thats 6 isn't it) was snapping and arking (just changed plugs 2 weeks ago, didn't do wires). I turned the boot alittle and it stopped and idle smoothed out. Just changed them all out in less than an hour.
