Gearbox

Hello

In my Corvette i have an M21 gearbox.But i want to remove it to an newer gearbox like an 5 or 6 speed gearbox that fitt the car whit smaller adjustment.Can some one tell me what gearbox i shall buy.Ihave heard that Richmond have an T56,is it right?I dont want to install a hydralic clutch.

That is where my 5 speed came from. One of the best modifications I have done to the car.

Hello bashcraft

Are the Keisler gearboxes strong or weak?Does`t the Camaro gearboxes fit the Corvette? Which year should fit?

The TKO from Keisler or any of the other vendors will hold onto 600 ft lbs of torque. Many are behind higher horse power cars and are surviving just fine. Pretty tough transmission.
