swapping engines....frame question

Default swapping engines....frame question
does anyone know during what years the engines were off set. whe we installed a 427 using stock motor mount placements the engine was off to the left about 1 and one half inches....read somewhere that the engines were off set ...would like to know the year models. help anyone

All engines are offset to the right including small blocks. Just not as noticable as the big guys...
