Default Plug wire choice

In my 69 300hp 350 I've got a stock dist with a pertronix kit that the previous owner put in. I am running the stock ignition shielding. What are your opinions on the best plug wires to run?

Thanks for the opinions.

I just use the cut-to-length wires that Auto Zone had

I like OEM brands, Delco in this case. Stay away from off brands as the quality is generally not there. It's a lot of work to install these the way the factory did so you want something that is going to last a long time.

I agree. Wires can be installed without removing the motormounts.....

IMO its not to difficult if you work from above and below....

I like the Taylor cut-to-fit wires. Good quality. You would need a proper ignition terminal tool (about $50) but it would let you make the wires the perfect length for routing/looks. The pre-cut sets are usually too long.

You didn't mention whether the ignition coil is stock or Pertronix upgrade coil. Buy wires appropriate for the voltage your coil is providing. Spending big money on 'purty' wires is a waste of money.
