Midyear cars are not like C3s. Granted, 22k+ on a project like this is high, but not that far off. It has several things going for it such as a factory A/C. I would think a car like that would fetch 8-12g.
Of course, what do I know...here's my project car.

I don't know much about C2s but it seems that the local corvette store sells midyears from 25 to 35k, depending on the particulars. That thing is a piece of junk or a parts car waiting to happen.
