I believe the rear plenum is bonded in and not intended to be removed. If you would remove it would have to come out from the inside.Do a search, here is one that shows the diagram-roll down aways. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ear+flow+astro
Why would you want to remove the plenium? The (Astro) vent has a rebuild kit. I rebuilt mine (72 coupe) As far as the fiberglass plenium, I just squirted the heck ot of it with a hose to clean it out. On less your doing some mods, A dremel is the best fiberglass tool. Just wondering
The plenum is bonded in place. The 2 doors and linkage can be unbolted and removed to rebuild them and replace their seals, and the 2 plenum drain tubes can also be removed and replaced easily by removing the hose clamps on the inside and removing the rivets in the wheel well.
I believe there are either 4 hex head screws that go through the plenum door into j-nuts on the fiberglass plenum.
