Default wiper cover adjustment

Is it possible to adjust the wiper cover so that the seams on both sides where the cover meets the fenders are even? Any info would be appreciated.

To move the wiper door side-to-side you need to loosen the hinge assembly from the firewall. 2 nuts at each end of the hinge assembly, 2 utsjust to the left of the wiper motor, and the the 2 nuts at the wiper actuator. This allows the hinge assembly and the door to move side to side. This always works but is an involved job because it also affects how the wiper door fits up & down relative to the the fenders at the cowl. I've found you need to shim the door in place and then gently tighten all the screws and nuts on the hinge assembly to hold the door where you want it.
There are also 'stops' on the hinge assembly at each end that affect how level the door is with the fenders

Alan
