Is it really carbon fiber, or is it vinyl printed to 'look' like carbon fiber? [CF is a nice look, if you want your C3 to be brought up-to-date]

A friend of mine bought a carbon fiber kit for his 1970, it's not the real deal however he believes he got it from another vendor...TM

I have the same carbon fiber kit installed and I can't stand it!! that look was like something you did to your beater back in the days when you didn't have the money. it LOOKS CHEAP....I should of listened to my old man. But, I found these people during corvette carlisle, the work they do is unreal, the pix are one thing to see but to see them first hand is another story! friend of mine had a few things done and I was impressed, this fall I am sending my entire interior except dash, steering wheel and doors to them! They are alittle expensive compared to the kit way, but it well worth it IMO!! http://www.apsisusa.com/Iindex.htm

(All I was doing was giving this cat some knowledge so that he does not make the same mistake WE DID!!!! ) If your gonna do it, do it right the first time around, (my excuse is I was a young buck!) the money you spent getting that look the the quick way just got you alot of mentions ,had you done your homework you might have gotten a trophy instead of alot good mentions in a good way that is!!!!!
