What year is the car? I have a PDF of an AIM for a '77, and access to a '74. I would be willing to email you a few pages to help save you the money if it's one of those years.
I would suggest to your friend though that he gets a few manuals for the car because he's the one who's supposed to be spending the money on it.
Ask your friend to spend a $15 to buy the electronic copy from Willcox. I am sure that investment will be very rewarding to him, otherwise he will spend much more $$$ on trying to fix some simple things.

15 bucks ???? Wow didnt know it was that cheap, thats a good deal.
MH,
I really believe anyone who does more work on an old Corvette beyond washing it shuld have the AIM for the year of the car, and the GM CHASSIS SERVICE MANUAL for the year of the car. $20.00 & $28.00 at Paragon. People like Wilcox have them!!!
Regards,
Alan
Hi,
I followed the link because I was curious and I believe the link is to the Chilton's manual.
Not to be a snot here, but the Chilton's and Haynes manuals just don't have the necessary information that the GM CHASSIS SERVICE MANUAL has.
I continue to think that unless you have Roger working next to you in the garage, you need the GM CHASSIS SERVICE MANUAL for your year car.
Regards,
Alan

I just received a tach drive gear set for my '74 but am having a problem finding any installation procedures...
Chilton and Haynes manuals are very basic. They do not contain nearly the [detailed] info of the Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual. When you consider the value of the car your purchased, is $50-100 too much to invest in GOOD documentation so that you have the info you need when you work on it?
