Default Corvette World

Hi guys. I normally visit the C-2 section cause my car is a 63. I'm interested in knowing if anyone has any experience buying parts from Corvette Worls Located in Irwin Pa.? My car has a 69- 350 in it and I'd like to buy a set of LT-1 valve covers. Corvette World is always selling a set on ebay for about $260 and they look pretty nice. Thanks in advance for any replies.

If 'reproductions' are OK with you, those are probably the same as everyone else sells. If you want original GM, LT1 covers, you'll have to find them on the Forum "for sale" site or eBay. No aftermarket place [that I know of, anyway] sells the 'real thing'.

I buy everything from them partly because I can pick it up and save shipping, but mostly because I'm happy with the service.

I don't have any experience with those valve covers though.

Thanks for the replies. I'm really not too concerned with originallity. There is very little about my car that is original. I'm more concerned with the quality of the product. Their ad on ebay says thet the valve covers are made from orig. molds or at least to original specs. Another thing that I like is that appears to come as a complete set. eg logo, oil filler cap, gasket etc. Also, I realize that pictures can be deceiving, but their's seem to look more polished than others that I have looked at.

The "reproductions" of the LT-1 valve covers on the market are being made in Michigan, from the original GM molds. The quality of these is excellent and appears to be better than what was coming through from GM when they discountinued them. The fit and finish on these is perfect. I've sold these and never had a complaint.
