Just finished replacing the temprature control cable on my 73 and I have broke the small clip that holds the cable to the temp control. It is the little spring clip that holds the end of the cable to the little stud. Does anyone know what size this thing needs to be. I am trying not to remove the entire control unit.

Thanks

If I were you, I would check the 'Help' section at my local auto parts store.

Beleive there called 'push nuts'.

If you can't find any more of them, you can use speed nuts...kind of the same thing but they have a hex stamped into the head so you can use a socket to screw them on. They are common on the back of emblems.
