Saw sq port mentioned. May not be what you want but I have an old Scorpion (or tarantula would have to go look). Doesnt come up to high does have the carb mounted at an angle though .Weird old piece.
I would do the AirGap hands down. It is dual plane but will out perform the tq2 at any rpm. If your cam peaked at 5600 then you should not have a single plane. Even with 505 cubes the AirGap intake will be equal to a good single plane at 6500.
Used Air Gap on my Brodix Race Rite Oval Ported 489. With 950 DP and mild hydraulic 236/240 cam it made 528 bhp @ 5800 rpm & 465 ft lb's @ 3850 rpm on the dyno. Even Brodix recommended this inlet. Used an L88 hood with drop down open element filter & filter top and 1/4" to spare. No room now for plate nitrous!. I used a Torker 2 previously on the original 427 which went under stock BB hood. I remember independant tests showing Air Gap as being up there or better than most other dual or single plane inlets (although the tests were probably more applicable to street engines). Air Gap sits approximately 1 1/4" higher than Torker.
