Where are you located. There might be a good rebuilder local to you.

I had Willcox do them but I can drive there! (I'm a huge Willcox fan, great people to work with). They did them on the car. If you post where you live maybe you have a local shop that can do it. If I remember right it was round 300.00 a side parts and labor to do them. This might give you a good idea how much if you take it to some one. You might call willcox, I know they have them shipped in and can do them.

Wilcox would be a good choice and Van Steel would be another.

Do you have the trailing arms out yet? If not, let us know when you take them out.

I replaced one of my TA on my 75 this month. I sent it to VANSTEEL in Clearwater, FL.

I got back a terrific looking TA assembly. The arms were powdercoated, all new materias used, and a matching rotor with it.

Check out their website. They have a price guide, and illustrations on what they offer.

I've started to load sale pricing for a huge sale we are having. T-Arms that are normally $389 per side will go to $292 with a $300 core charge. We also changed the warranty on our bearing assemblies to a lifetime warranty.

Lot's of parts will be 15-30% off.

My $.02... Have this done by a specialist. My very experienced, very good friend and mechanic/machinist almost disowned me for having him set up my VanSteel offsets.

That is a GREAT price. Too bad you didn't have them on sale last spring when I replaced mine.

It will depends on what type of wheels and rims you decide to go with on weather or not you will need anything else. ie a shorten spring. Other than that you will need to transfer over is your spindle flange from your old assembly to the new and it's a bolt-on deal. I would recommend a t-arm bolt & SS shim kit if yours are not in good shape. Give us a call with your plans and we will get you going in the right direction.

Hey Van:

What's your favorite shorty spring to go with your offsets?

Dan at Van Steel is the man. Excellent customer service and stands behind their work. I had a problem with a composite spring that cracked and he replaced it no questions asked. I have a pair of offset T-arms and they have been great. When I replaced my calipers (Of course Van Steel SS calipers) I noticed that one of my rear caliper brackets was loose. Upon further investigation it was found that the studs that hold the bearing assembly on the t-arm were actually bolts that apparently were used in the buildup of the T-arms. I called Dan and told him the problem (after almost a year in the car). He immediately sent me all the studs and nuts to fix the problem FREE OF CHARGE! I was a little upset but with customer service that Van Steel provides they quickly remedied the problem again with no questions asked. Highly recommended.

Default Sale - how long?

Van Steel --

How long will your sale last? I want to have my T/As rebuilt/exchanged this winter, but Xmas presents for the kids (AND WIFE) will have to come first...

Depends on what type of ride your looking for. Springs can be shortened and made to any rate.
